PD Pasar Jaya is going to widen Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta. The main focus is additional waste disposal site.

PD Pasar Jaya Public Relations Manager, Gatra Vaganza said Kramat Jati market will be widened. He hoped, the empty lands behind the market could be acquired after getting the landowner permission.

"We need additinal land to build waste disposal site there. In future, we have to manage waste independently," he told, Friday (4/1).

All this time, waste volume in the market reached 200 cubic meters every day. Totally, the market land has a width of about 14.7 hectares.

He added, if the empty land is enough, it can also be used for adding kiosk numbers.
